Marlan (Sonny) W. Kent, 59, of Tempe, Ariz.,
formerly of Duluth, died Monday, March 20, 2000, in the Phoenix VA Hospital.
He was born Feb. 23, 1941, to Charles and
Ethel Kent in Deer Creek, Minn. He spent most of his life in Duluth
and was in the Air Force from 1959 to 1964. He worked at Shannon's
Bar about 16 years and at the Highland Supper Club until he moved to Arizona
in 1982. In Arizona he worked for AMF bowling alleys in Mesa and
Tempe for 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his
wife, Kay; and sisters Darlene, Delores and Carol.
He is survived by his sisters Ramona (Hank)
Kauffman of Duluth and Sharon (Don) Kujawa of Buckley, Wahs.; step-children
Tom (Barb) Robillard, Mary Robillard, Julie Elstad and Kara (Scott)
Raymond; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews; and special friends Judie, Laurie, Rieta and Win.
