After graduation from high school in Butte, Montana, I enlisted in the USAF and served on active duty for 6 1/2 years with 2 tours of duty overseas, the 1st in Karamursel, Turkey and the 2nd in West Berlin, Germany.  Both tours I worked as a 20351.  While in military language school at Syracuse University, I met and subsequently married, Marilyn Jean Stanton (the gal from the big city back east).

After leaving the service I returned to Syracuse University. and obtained a BS degree in mathematics (the easiest course of study I could think of).  The Boeing company in Seattle, WA hired me on as a computer applications programmer.   When Boeing nearly shut down in 1971, I moved to the Denver area and was employed by the Air Force Accounting and Finance Center as a computer systems programmer responsible for mainframe computer security.

I retired from there in 1996 and current hobbies include woodworking, genealogy, and web page design.  All are invited to browse about in my personal web site at URL address  http://trefor-duane.info/my-pwp/  I am an active member of the Colorado Welsh Society and teach the beginning level Welsh language class.

Marilyn and I had 3 children.  Unfortunately, our youngest daughter succumbed to cancer at the early age of 39.  We are fortunate to have Beth and Todd living in the Denver area.  We also have 3 grandchildren - one granddaughter serving with the US Army and the other 2 living nearby.
